The COULTER ACT Rinse Shutdown Diluent is used to remove protein buildup from the sensing cavities of a hematology analyzer. It is used for COULTER ACT 8, ACT 10, ACT diff, and ACT diff 2.
As blood flows through a hematology analyzer protein builds up in the apertures over time. Eventually the orifices become blocked. The proteolytic enzyme is a shutdown diluent that reacts with and dissolves the protein in and around the orifices.
The Ac-T Rinse shut down diluent reagent is available in 500ml.
