The Beckman Coulter, Inc. Coulter DxH Cell Lyse is a cyanide-free lytic agent for whole blood sample preparation. It facilitates the quantitative determination of hemoglobin, as well as WBC and NRBC count.
Oxyhemoglobin Methodology As the agent does not contain cyanide ions, surfactants are used to lyse erythrocytes and release hemoglobin. The hemoglobin is then stabilized with an agent before being quantified. The lytic agent also solubilizes RBC membranes while preserving WBC and NRBC.
Product Handling The DxH Cell Lyse is ready to use in the manner prescribed in the instrument manual. The agent must be stored at 2-40°C. Furthermore, the agent must only be used with Coulter DxH Diluent.
The Beckman Coulter, Inc. DxH Cell Lyse is compatible with the range of proprietary DxH Hematology Analyzers.
